Studying in London has offered me unique opportunities to explore interior architecture from a unique perspective. I've had the chance to gain valuable experiences by engaging with a wide range of projects within the city.

Why did you choose the University of Westminster?

I was drawn to the University of Westminster because of the collaborative atmosphere between students and tutors within the studios. The course's structure allowed me to blend my creativity with critical design problem-solving.

How has your experience been studying in London?

Studying in London has offered me unique opportunities to explore interior architecture from a unique perspective. I've had the chance to gain valuable experiences by engaging with a wide range of projects within the city.

What have you particularly enjoyed about your course?

The course has not only broadened my knowledge but also equipped me with the necessary skills for a career as a designer. Engaging in competitions, collaborating with other universities, and participating in exhibitions have all enriched my experience.

How have you found academic support as part of your studies?

My tutors have been instrumental in pushing me to produce high-quality work. Their guidance has helped me enhance my skill set and provided me with the freedom to be creative.

Are there any stand-out facilities associated with your course?

The Fabrication Lab stands out as a productive space where design concepts can come to life. The variety of machines, materials, and the invaluable advice from staff has helped me greatly throughout my studies.

Have you used the University Careers and Employability Service?

Yes, I have utilised the University Careers and Employability Service. It's a great resource for connecting with opportunities and receiving guidance on various career pathways available to students.

Tell us about any activities that you have undertaken outside of your course (eg course related trips, study abroad, sports clubs, societies and any competitions)?

One notable experience outside of my coursework was participating in a competition to design a hub space within the University. This project allowed students to work on something that would benefit the entire university community.

What would your advice be to someone considering studying at Westminster?

My advice to anyone contemplating studying at Westminster is to take advantage of all the University has to offer. Make full use of the available facilities while you have the opportunity. The studios, in particular, can serve as a space for you to explore and discover the kind of designer you aspire to be.

What's the best aspect of being a University of Westminster student?

The best aspect of being a University of Westminster student is the amount of opportunities provided for exploration and growth.

What was the most surprising or unexpected aspect of your Westminster experience?

The most surprising aspect of my Westminster experience was the balance my course struck between teamwork and independence, both of which have proven invaluable in their own right.
