The University of Westminster can open many doors for you. You are supported throughout your years of studying as well as once you have graduated.  The tutors are always available to help you, the facilities are incredible, the library offers one of the best and more comprehensive collections of sources. All these aspects make it very difficult to leave this environment once you graduate!

Why did you choose the University of Westminster?

I chose the University of Westminster after in-depth research of different routes and institutions. To me, Westminster offered the best level of academic support, facilities and class sizes.

How has your experience been studying in London?

Incredibly stimulating as I can combine my learnings in the arts sector with the dynamic and vibrant environment that London has to offer.

What have you particularly enjoyed about your course?

My course combines a mix of theoretical and practical elements, which I think are key in preparing students for their professional careers. My tutors have been very inspiring, providing me with all the tools needed to make the most of my university experience.

How have you found academic support as part of your studies?

All my tutors have always been available to support me. I’ve been able to attend one-to-one sessions on a regular basis and I’ve also had access to further support when needed.

Are there any stand-out facilities associated with your course?

I believe the photographic department has one of the best facilities in London and the technical support offered by the technicians working there is outstanding.

Tell us about your experience of using the University Careers and Employability Service

The University’s Careers and Employability Service was presented to us in our first year of studies. We also had regular guest lecturers as part of our modules. They would often educate us about the industry and support us in our development. I also used the mentorship programme service, and it was excellent as it helped me to get a clear focus on my career goals.

What would your advice be to someone considering studying at Westminster?

My advice would be to make the most out of your university studies. The tutors are there to support you, but you need to take your own initiative to approach them.
What's the best aspect of being a University of Westminster student?

The environment. It is vibrant, mixed, very diverse and inclusive.
