The University of Westminster's Polyclinic is a teaching and research clinic for complementary medicines. The teaching clinics provide low-cost access to treatments in western herbal medicine for the general public.
Due to the high demand for appointments, you may need to go on a waiting list.
Western herbal medicine
Medical herbalism, sometimes also called phytotherapy, uses pure natural plant remedies to promote health and wellbeing.
BodPod: Body composition
The BodPod is a highly accurate, non-intrusive, extremely rapid method of measuring total body fat and lean mass.

Attending appointments
Please do not attend the Polyclinic if you have any COVID-19, Norovirus or flu-like symptoms.
On the day of your first appointment, you will be asked to fill in a registration form and a consent form. You may also be required to complete these forms if you are an existing patient and it has been a long time since you last attended the clinic.
Making payments
Payments can be made in the following ways:
- In person by credit/debit card
- By phone by credit/debit card
- Online
Please note: we are unable to accept cash payments
Location
Our Polyclinic is located on Hanson Street in central London, by the BT Tower and close to Warren Street, Goodge Street and Great Portland Street Underground stations. The clinic is a separate unit within the University buildings and has its own entrance.
