About this event

Join us for a night of celebration and community at the World in Westminster: Iftar celebrations.

Muslims believe that the first verses of the Quran, the holy book of Islam, were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad during the month of Ramadan. This sacred time is marked by fasting from dawn until sunset, during which Muslims abstain from food and drink. In addition to fasting, Muslims are encouraged to give to charity, supporting those in need within their communities. Throughout Ramadan, they also focus on showing kindness and patience in their interactions with others. Many Muslims seek to deepen their relationship with God through prayer, reflection, and reading the Quran.

Experience the joy of breaking fast together in a spirit of unity. The event will take place at our Regent Street Campus in Fyvie Hall, providing a perfect setting for a memorable evening.

Indulge in exquisite food, engage in inspiring conversations, and enjoy a vibrant atmosphere. This is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to connect, celebrate diversity, and create wonderful memories. We look forward to seeing you there!
