It is very normal to have thoughts that are not always helpful. Often there is a pattern to such thoughts and we call these, "unhelpful thinking styles".
When a person consistently and constantly uses some of these styles of thinking they can get stuck in vicious cycles of behaviours and often cause themselves a great deal of emotional distress. It is worth taking a step back to observe our thoughts and check if they may be unhelpful right now.
In this interactive workshop, based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, an evidence-based treatment used widely in the NHS, learn how to identify and challenge common unhelpful thinking patterns.
