Get ready to witness a showcase of innovation and inspiration at the Big Idea Grand Final and be part of an electrifying event celebrating great ideas.
The Big Idea Competition is the University of Westminster’s annual business idea and innovation competition supported by Santander Universities UK.
The annual competition encourages students and graduates to activate their entrepreneurial skills, test and validate commercial ideas and access funding to develop and scale their businesses. After attending bootcamps, students will be pitching for a share of a £43,000+ funding pot.
This event is a showcase and celebration of the University’s entrepreneurial student and graduate talent. The 10 finalists across three entry categories: Freelance, Ideate and Accelerate will pitch their businesses to the audience and a panel of judges. The judges will ask questions, rank the winners of the competition and allocate their funding from each prize pot.
Attendees will have an opportunity to network over drinks and food with the finalists and find out more about their businesses, as well as meet other Westminster students and graduates, university colleagues and industry guests.
