About the speakers
Eshara Fonseka (BSc Information Systems with Business Management, 2010) Senior Account Manager at Yenlo – Integration Specialist
Eshara is an experienced sales professional with a demonstrated history of large IT solution sales, specifically targeting Fortune 100 US organisations.
She also has been an integral part in the sales organisation of WSO2 for 8+ years playing the role of Director of Sales, where she worked with CXO’s and top-level management of organisations such as Fidelity Investment, State Street Bank, Boeing, Expedia, etc. performing roles in strategic account management and leadership.
Following this, she served as VP/Head of Sales & Marketing at LinearSix, a start-up focussing on the Banking and Finance industry, where she played a significant role in the business growth, corporate and product marketing strategy, driving the team towards reaching targets, building relationships with key customers and spearheaded in creating a sales culture within the organisation. She also played the role of head of marketing where she managed the marketing budgets, formulated corporate and product branding and marketing strategies and conducted CXO events for brand building and recognition.
Eshara currently works for Yenlo, a Netherlands based IT organisation as a Senior Account Manager. She is responsible for the growth of the US and Canadian business and works closely with the strategic accounts of the organisation in value-based sales and account management operations while engaging with Yenlo teams across the globe.
Siraj Mashood (BA Business Management, International Business 2015) Senior Associate at Stax Inc.
Siraj Mashood is a Senior Associate at Stax Inc., a global management consulting firm.
After completing his Bachelors in Business Management and International Business from the University of Westminster in London, he moved to Sri Lanka and started his career at KPMG working in Forensics, Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance services. At Stax he works with local and US clients from public and private corporations to private equity firms and portfolio companies.
While at university, Siraj was also the Head of Communications for The Entrepreneurial Society – responsible for connecting entrepreneurs and start-ups to each other and promoting knowledge sharing.
Eshanka Kodituwakku (BEng Software Engineering, BEng (Hons) Computer Software, 2014) Senior eCommerce Consultant at Sana Commerce
Eshanka received a full scholarship at IIT, which allowed him to work at Informatics International Limited (IIL) while studying part time for his B. Eng in Software Engineering at the University of Westminster (IIT).
Eshanka made the best of the 5 wonderful years at both IIT and IIL by being able to complete his degree successfully, tour with the IIT rugby team and become an integral part of starting up the IIT Rotaract club, while gaining invaluable experience in working with both local and international partners and customers, finishing up as a senior product engineer and a lead at IIL.
Eshanka’s next adventure began when he joined ISM-APAC as a technical consultant (product specialist) for their product SanaCommerce where he immersed himself in the world of eCommerce and ERPs and got exposure to corporates in the ANZ, EMEA, DACH, and UKI regions. Halfway through this journey at ISM, Eshanka found his passion for solving complex problems when he became an eCommerce consultant (BA).
A few years later now, Eshanka finds himself in Rotterdam, at the Sana-Commerce headquarters, further honing his skills and using his experience to drive the eCommerce strategies of new and existing customers, helping them prioritize relationships, not just transactions.
