About the speakers
André Modenesi, (MA Media Management, Class of 2016) Screenwriter at Rede Globo, based in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil
Andre Modenesi graduated in Journalism in the distant year of 1999, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. After some 15 years in newsrooms, he reasoned the environment of systemic - and seismic - change in the media called for professionals able to better weave the creative and the business sides of the industry. Therefore, Andre took a sabbatical year and joined the Media Management MA at the University of Westminster in a Chevening Scholarship. When returning to Brazil, now a Master of Arts with distinction, he moved from Journalism to Entertainment, and is now a writer for variety shows and a volunteer ambassador for both the University of Westminster and the Chevening Scholarship.
Barbara Loedel Rois (MA Events and Conference Management, Class of 2014) Marketing & Comms. Associate Manager at Accenture
Barbara Loedel is an Associate Manager at Accenture Colombia, responsible for developing and executing multi-channel and creative marketing campaigns for both internal and external clients. For the past 15 years, Barbara has been working in the technology industry in multinational enterprises such as Microsoft, 3M and Accenture working in different countries and industries, building brands and creating experiences that combine technology, digital and human interaction to generate personal and memorable connections. A business administrator with a postgraduate degree in Marketing Management and a Master´s in Events and Conference Management at University of Westminster in 2014.
Fabiola Olivares Rodríguez, (MA International Human Resource Management, Class of 2010); Climate Change Coordinator at WWF Mexico
Fabiola works as a Coordinator of the Alliance for Climate Action in Mexico City (ACA-CDMX), a World Wildlife Fund Initiative (WWF Mexico), to influence and promote synergies in the mitigation of CO2 emissions with companies, universities, civil associations, Mayors and the Government of CDMX. During the last 5 years, she worked at UP Sí Vale as Director of External Relations, developing the agenda to enhance strategic goals and reinforcing Up Sí Vale networking channels, as well as the head of Fondation Up Mexique. Previously, Fabiola worked at World Resources Institute Mexico (WRI México) as Corporate Relations Coordinator, constantly exploring for strategic aliases and new collaborations either with enterprises, universities, embassies and some government institutions.
As a consultant, she currently works together in the development of Public relations and public policy strategies, as well as linking actions with NGOs and enterprises. She collaborated with the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León and Bansefi supporting PMOs with IT projects funded by World Bank, and as the Technical Coordinator Manager of the IT Deputy General Managers. As a creative and inquisitive person, Fabiola is always looking for constant learning and holds an MA in International Human Resource Management from the University of Westminster; a bachelor on International Relations (UNAM, Mx); and several majors in Public Relations (CECC, Mx), Lobbing and political negotiation techniques (IBERO, Mx), Corporate Social Responsibility (ITESM, Mx) and Politic Analysis (ITAM, Mx). Currently, Fabiola is specialising in Gender Analysis in Economics, FE-UNAM.
Gonzalo Oliva Beltrán, (LLM Corporate Finance Law, Class of 2006) Partner at BARREIRO, OLIVA, DE LUCA, JACA & NICASTRO Abogados, Based in Argentina
Gonzalo F. Oliva Beltrán is a Senior Partner at Barreiro, Oliva, De Luca, Jaca & Nicastro. Gonzalo has experience in corporate finance, tech law, foreign exchange regulations, M&As, corporate law, charities and NGOs. He earned his law degree from the Universidad Católica Argentina in 2001. In his senior year, he was granted a visiting student scholarship by the Southwestern University School of Law, United States.
In 2006 Gonzalo earned an LLM in Corporate Finance Law (with Distinction) from the University of Westminster, London. His final dissertation was awarded the Watheeqa Prize to the best research project of the program. Gonzalo is a member of the Bar of the City of Buenos Aires since 2001, and a member of the International Bar Association since 2007. He speaks fluent English and is proficient in French. He specialises in Corporate Law, Tech Law, Corporate Finance Law, Foreign Exchange Regulations, M&As, Charities and NGOs.
