The event will be held virtually and give you the opportunity to hear from a panel of speakers. Attendees will also have the chance to participate in ‘breakout rooms’ for more in-depth discussions with each speaker.
About the speakers
Lynda Ori (MA, International Business & Management, 2011); Senior Marketing & Communications at PricewaterhouseCoopers
Lynda Ori is a Senior Marketing & Communications professional at PwC Nigeria where she drives marketing strategy & communications for market development in the FS (financial service) & CIPS (consumer & industrial products) industries; increasing brand equity and profitability, implementation of brand policies and execution of corporate social responsibility.
Lynda is also a social innovator contributing towards solving Nigeria’s problem of “unemployment” through her social innovation startup “Cash Your Passion, Africa” which helps unemployed people create jobs for themselves through vocational training. Through this initiative, she received $5000 grant in 2019 from Tony Elumelu Foundation as one of the social impact innovators solving a problem in Africa and she also won “top pitch performance” at the Forbes (Nigeria) Digital Startup Accelerator Program, 2020.
Karim Bousalem (MBA Class of 2001) North Africa Finance Director at Pfizer, based in Morocco
Karim Bousalem is a knowledgeable finance professional with 20 years of experience in the sector and a deep understanding of the financial labour market in North Africa. After graduating from Westminster Business School with an MBA in 2001, Karim has held a number of roles and worked his way up to now being North Africa’s Finance Director at Pfizer Global Manufacturing.

Gifty is a competent professional and passionate about community engagement, social justice advocacy, human rights, teaching and rural development-Total Human Development. Interested in international broadcasting, communication policy and strategies, Gifty completed her MA Media and Development in 2016 at the University of Westminster. Since then, Gifty has gained experience in a number of roles in the media industry and currently works as Deputy News Editor and Show Host at The Pulse, Joy News.
Anil Singh Rana FRICS, (MSc Construction Project Management, Class of 2012), Project Manager, Mentor and Founder of CPD Ltd
Anil is a construction project manager with 19 years of experience in the construction industry, founder of CPD Ltd, young people ambassador in the construction industry, international speaker, award-winning building surveyor, award-winning mentor, global ambassador for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Anil is the first Mauritian to become the youngest Fellow of the RICS in Africa in 2️014 and is the first Chartered Surveyor in Africa to win the prestigious accolade of the RICS Matrics Young Surveyor of the Year Awards 2016 in the Mentor category. Anil was also the runner up for the JCI Mauritius Outstanding Young Person Award 2018, the runner up for the University of Westminster Global Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award 2018 and finalist for the British Council Study UK Alumni Entrepreneurial Award Category 2021.
Anil has passionately and consistently provided advice and mentored voluntarily 1000+ built environment graduates locally and globally, circa 5000 + hours of free mentoring and mentored 105 Surveyors (MRICS) in the UK , Australia, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Namibia, Malaysia, Seychelles, Nigeria, Rwanda, India and Mauritius, out of whom 75 are in Mauritius. To date, Anil has delivered 107 CPD Talks, out of which 42 webinars attended by 10,000+ participants.
