National Student Pride is the BIGGEST LGBTQ+ annual student event - a weekend long festival with 1800+ students attending from across the UK!
The festival includes celebrity & activist panel conversations, interviews, live music, incredible drag performances as well as the largest LGBTQ+ student and graduate careers fair in the UK hosted by the University of Westminster.
Past to Present
This year’s event will be the 17th, having started in 2005 in response to the Oxford Brookes Christian Union’s talk on ‘Homosexuality and the Bible’.
NSP has been hosted in Oxford, Brighton, Manchester and now London – the in-person event in 2020 was headlined by The Pussycat Dolls.
In 2021, a week-long digital festival was launched and featured Nick Grimshaw, Joanna Lumley, Lady Phyll, Munroe Bergdorf, Lorraine Kelly, Stephen Fry, Jessie Ware, Lawrence Chaney and Tia Kofi, amongst many others.
