
A new community of practice in mentoring and coaching is being launched in April.
The Community of Practice in Mentoring and Coaching aims to:
- Contribute towards the development of a Mentoring and Coaching culture and infrastructure at the University, in order to benefit students, academics, early career researchers and support colleagues
- Promote mentoring and coaching for research supervisors
- Work with the Centre for Resilience on aspects of mentoring and coaching practice and research
- Contribute to the University's 2025 vision as well as equality and diversity agendas
- Offer Continuing Professional Development skills based learning and development events for colleagues undertaking various roles that utilise coaching and mentoring skills
Guest speaker
The virtual launch event will include a guest talk by eminent speaker Professor Jonathan Passmore who will be talking about Developing Coaching Cultures.
