Lavender bag making session

Get creative with the sustainability team in our lavender bag making session at New Cavendish campus. The session is open to all students and colleagues and offers an opportunity to unwind whilst learning about biodiversity at Westminster.

Attendees will create lavender bags filled with loose dry lavender, which they can take home with them. Lavender has anti-anxiety and calming effects, which can be a great stress reliever as we enter the new academic year. Lavender also supports wildlife and is great for pollinators such as bees and butterflies.

This session aims to encourage positive well-being and further an understanding of biodiversity in London. This aligns with SDG 3: Good Health and Wellbeing and SDG 15: Life of Land.
