Interfaith Week at Westminster: Wreath Making Workshop

Date 15 November 2021
Time 3 - 6pm
Cost Free

As a part of Interfaith Week 2021 at Westminster, this workshop event provides an opportunity to make your own small wreath.

At our Remembrance event, we lay red and black wreaths at the base of our memorials to those from the University fallen in the two world wars.

This workshop event provides an opportunity to make your own small wreath, encouraged as a spiritual activity with an immersive awareness of the tactile experience. There can follow some interactive discussion of what broader themes may be at play. Personal grief may be present, so a spirit of respectful sharing stories is to be welcomed.

We would like to display these wreaths across campuses in the following days, with our other Interfaith Week event 'Dis/obedience to the Earth' in mind, after which you may keep them.

Please bring ideas and materials for wreath making if you wish, though some basics will also be available.

The Wreath-making Workshop will take place at the Forum on Harrow Campus on Monday, November 15 at 3pm.
