Join this book presentation by Kate Weir, Principal Lecturer (University of Westminster) and María Blanco (Author). The event is organised by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Maria Blanco's book is a comprehensive guide for students of Spanish up to intermediate level.

It teaches simple and powerful language learning principles and strategies for memorising vocabulary, developing good pronunciation habits, and learning grammar effectively. It also shows how to set learning goals, select good learning resources, and incorporate fun language learning activities. The principles and strategies speed up progress in all language skills; make learning more effective, creative, and fun; and make students more confident and empowered to take charge of their language learning experience.

Maria Blanco is a Senior Lecturer in Spanish at the University of Westminster and a language learning strategies specialist. She has more than 20 years of experience teaching Spanish as well as coaching students and training language teachers on language learning strategies.
