The annual Graduate School Festival returns this year across 3 – 7 June, celebrating the research, creativity, and ambition of our community of doctoral researchers.
Under the new theme, Connections, Reflections, Intersections, the festival seeks to bring doctoral researchers together to share new research and forge new connections through the central question: how do we position ourselves in relation to others?
All events are free to attend and are open to the public.
This year’s programme includes:
- An Opening Reception featuring a showing of new work by Howard Lukk
- A Keynote Lecture by Joycelyn Longdon
- A workshop led by doctoral researchers Margaret Go and (Dmitri) Hui Ken Chong
- A workshop led by doctoral researchers Lonceny Kourouma and Delso Batista Jr
- The 3 Minute Thesis Competition
- A Researchers in Conversation symposium
- A workshop offering practical advice and critical tools to navigate the challenges of doctoral study
The 'Doctoral Dialogues' podcast series also returns, featuring pre-recorded conversations with doctoral researchers discussing their experiences of doctoral study and research. Led and hosted by Megan Carnrite.
