Pre-recorded workshop available from Monday 4 March for one week.
Our emotions help to guide everyday decisions. Our thoughts and experiences trigger emotional reactions all the time. Much of what we do is motivated by a desire to change or maintain how we feel – to either maintain the 'good' feelings or avoid the 'bad feelings'.
Having a greater understanding of our emotions will help us to cope with the emotions that we find challenging, such as sadness, anxiety or anger. This workshop will explore:
- The interconnection of our emotions, mind, body and behaviour
- Emotional regulation: how to categorize emotions to better understand them
- Techniques and strategies for self-soothing
