An interactive workshop exploring music and memory.

About the event

At this very special Soho Poly music workshop, attendees will be invited to share memories of significant musical events from their own lives and consider how these can be thought of as personal 'landmarks'. Hosted by musician Ian Bennett, there will also be a chance to hear songs, live and recorded, and perhaps even sing one or two. The event is particular suitable for older participants, but all welcome.

This event is part of Being Human Festival, the UK’s national festival of the humanities, taking place 7–16 November 2024. Led by the School of Advanced Study, University of London, with generous support from Research England, the festival is being held in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the British Academy. For further information please see the Being Human Festival website.
