*Students studying in Semester 1 only may leave after this date as no formal teaching is due to take place after the teaching period finishes. Students studying in Semester 1 only will be set Alternative Assessment (in place of the formal closed book examination) for any module with an examination element of the coursework. Most formal closed book examinations for modules are normally sat at the end of Semester 2. This means it may be possible to complete all assessment before the start of the Winter Vacation. Students staying in University accommodation may therefore be able to check out as early as Saturday 18 December 2010 at the end of teaching.
**Some coursework deadlines may be set in the first half of January (final coursework submission deadline Friday 7 January 2011). Students with deadlines after the Winter Vacation but who have to leave London before these deadlines should endeavour to complete all assessment before they leave.
***Study Abroad students may leave after the exam period finishes as all coursework submission and examinations will be completed by this date. Students wishing to stay in their Halls of Residence and travel may do so as all formal housing tenancy agreements will end on Saturday, June 26 2011 at 10am.
