Women in Sudan are now demanding 50 per cent representation in all decision-making positions in all economic sectors through the Sudan Women’s Declaration of Change No (1) by the El Karama Network. This aims to bring about change and recognises the urgent need for the political participation of women in Sudan.

In the article, Dr Mohamed said: “The international business community can learn from these women that change is now driven by stakeholders who have not had the opportunity to listen before. Companies will be more successful by being open to engaging those formerly excluded in shaping their new future.”
