At the seventh What it Takes event of the 2023-24 series on 5 March, students and recent graduates had the opportunity to listen to keynote speaker and alumna Raimonda Jankunaite share her top tips to start building an outstanding personal brand and online presence. 

The event was organised by the Alumni Relations Office and attended by 90 Westminster colleagues, students and recent graduates. 

After graduating from Westminster with a Business Management BA Honours degree in 2011, Raimonda has gone on to become a serial entrepreneur and the founder of Women Thrive Media. She is also a best-selling author, international speaker and speaking coach. Since 2017 Raimonda has grown her global community to over 600k followers and now publishes Women Thrive magazine which is in print globally. During the talk she covered how to uncover your personal brand value, how to influence people, unlocking opportunities at work in business and steps you need to take to establish your own personal brand. 

Following the talk, a Q&A session was held, led by panel chair Mariia Kogan, Senior Mentoring Officer (Group Mentoring) at the University of Westminster.

Talking about the event, one audience member said: ‘’It was an amazing take on building your personal brand that I have not seen before, and I gained invaluable advice that I cannot wait to implement into my life.’’ Another said Raimonda was a ‘’truly powerful and inspiring woman”, and added: “loved hearing about your experience thank you.’’
