‘Decoding and decentering whiteness in the ELT classroom’

In this presentation, participants will examine terminology related to racism and whiteness, gain a deeper understanding of how whiteness is centered in ELT and the impact this has on students and teachers, and learn ways they can substantively decenter whiteness in their field and in their classrooms.
