About this event

The Windrush Justice Clinic (WJC) was set up in October 2020 to support people affected by the Windrush scandal to make successful claims for compensation. The WJC aims to address some of the unmet needs for free legal support and advice amongst possible claimants. The WJC is a collaborative partnership made up of community organisations, Law Centres and university legal advice clinics striving to help victims of the Windrush scandal receive the compensation they deserve. As part of our work, we have carried out research into unmet need for legal advice for people making claims under the Windrush Compensation Scheme. This event will be an opportunity to meet the WJC partners and hear from the researchers Hysha Smith and Lilian Lewis about the findings contained in the report

This event will take place in person at our Regent Street Campus.

Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
